On Friday, September 25th, The Traveling Arcade paid a visit to the “Game Night” event at Seven Oaks Classical School in Ellettsville, IN. The school was hosting the event for middle school students as a fundraiser for their upcoming field trip to Washington, DC. The students were going to have board games and a Mario Kart (Switch) tournament, so it seemed like the perfect occasion to let the kids enjoy some old-school arcade action as well!
Many students were curious to play and ask questions about the cabinet’s construction. As you can see below, many classic games were enjoyed that night, with favorites including Killer Instinct, In the Hunt, and Blazing Star. I was even able to get in a match of Street Fighter Alpha 3 with another dad when he came to pick up his son. Good times!
